New Honey Stinger Marathon Training Pack
Honey Stinger launched a new Marathon Training Pack on HoneyStinger.com, featuring the most recent addition to the Honey Stinger line, the Rapid Hydration Mix. The new training pack received solid press pickup 16 weeks ahead of the New York City Marathon, right around the time many runners were beginning their training.
Also, two Honey Stinger Hive athletes medaled in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games! Swimmer Katie McLaughlin earned a silver in the 4 x 200m relay and pole-vaulter Katie Nageotte won gold!
Mikey’s Plant-Based Pockets Made with Beyond Meat
Two new plant-based pockets from Mikey’s featuring Beyond Meat hit shelves in the SoCal region at Albertsons, Vons, and Pavilions, with wider distribution coming in fall. They are also available at EatMikeys.com, where Meaty Marinara quickly became one of the top selling items. (Spicy Southwest is the other new plant-based flavor.) The launch was accompanied by promotion from macro influencers on Instagram and a feature in the Celiac Disease Foundation’s email newsletter.
Also, Mikey’s Super Greens and Golden Turmeric Tortillas went national at Whole Foods Market!
ROAR Organic Now Available at Sprouts
ROAR Organic launched nationally at Sprouts Farmers Markets in July! ROAR had presented to Sprouts six times in the past, so getting the yes this time was a big win for the brand. CEO Alex Galinedez told Food Navigator the success with Sprouts is tied to ROAR’s brand refresh and reformulation as an all-day hydration solution.

This summer Stuffed Puffs became the number one marshmallow in terms of dollar sales at Walmart, driving category growth as a whole! Stuffed Puffs debuted at Walmart in 2019 and has had a close partnership with the retailer ever since.
